---2012 Nexus Phone facts/rumours/info thread---

meh, I want proper wireless charging, where you don't even have to place the mobile on some pad! :p

My phone, my GFs phone and Kindle, my tablet and my wireless headphones all sit on my bedside table every night. They day when the whole top surface of that table can be a charging mat to charge all those devices wirelessly will be a good one :).

And what about the bezel on the sides smart arse?

Blind much?

And who said the iFad has an acceptable bezel size?!

What are you comparing your unacceptable bezel size against then? This has a similar sized bezel to any other 10"+ tablet on the market...

The bezel size on the sides are similar as well.

The bezels are too big and it doesn't help that the top and bottom bezels curve outwards in the middle. Makes the tablet look very childish...

I think it's ugly and if the screenshots of the UI changes in 4.2 are true, then the Android tablet experience on 10.1 devices has taken a huge step backwards.

I mean, navigation buttons in the middle of the bar? I can tell you now as a 10.1" tablet owner, that isn't going to work. Asus ship a software keyboard on their tablets that does not have a split thumb mode and you can't reach the keys in the middle of the tablet.

I agree it's ugly however the bezels are not noticeably larger then any other tablet especially not the longer edges. Unless you mean the front facing speakers, which I am not regarding as bezel...

See in spoiler for better image of the bezel. It certainly isn't unacceptably large.

I wish it had iPad mini sized bezel

ipad mini bezel doesn't make sense, how do you hold it comfortably without touching the screen?

Apparently the software detects the part of your hand that's touching the screen (the part that shouldn't be - so to speak).

If it works then it'll be rather useful.

Can he not be of the opinion that all 10" tablets available have bezels that are too large?

Of course devices need some bezel to allow you to hold it comfortably. But the Nexus 10 is just enormous.
