2012 Weight Loss Thread

5kg in 2 months? When're you going to start cutting? :p

I know but as I said before i'm not going to make my life around loosing weight. I'm more happy keeping things at a sustainable rate, where I don't feel bad every time I occasionaly eat something I shouldn't. I never really snacked in the first place, more portion sizes were too big.

Tenth week weigh in:

Last Sunday - 20st 3lb
This Sunday - 19st 12lb

5lb loss

Over the moon with this week, again I don't really know how but that's me under 20st and past the 6st mark :D

(Total loss since September '11 - 6st 1lb )

Lost weight again last week. That has been a loss now for approx 6 weeks in a row! Even though the weight loss has been slow, it is still good and better than losing a big amount in one go! Los three quarters of a pound last week.

Now back is all healed, I'll be getting stuck back in again.

Starting weight: 95kg (aiming for 90kg again).

Sticking in HIIT with weights, so hopefully I will start noticing differences :)

Didnt lose anything this week, didnt deserve to lose any weight either. Ate badly, didnt excercise as much as I should have.

Has given me the kick up the **** I needed.

Week 10 Weigh in:

Starting weight beginning of January 14st 6lb
Target weight end of June 11st

Last Monday 12st 10lb
This Monday 12st 8lb

2lb lost

I actually lost 2.5lb this week but just to keep things simple I'm not counting half pounds!

I'm starting to struggle with my old clothes now as my 36" waist fitting jeans are just baggy and hanging off me :D but my old 501's which I haven't worn for years (34" waist) are now a nice loose fit :D

When I get to my target weight of 11st I'm off clothes shopping!!!

Running is going well to, managed to run 2.4 miles before slowing down to a walk :D

I have to wear 36" waist trousers, which are pretty baggy, but have to as my bloody thights wont fit in to a 34" anymore . Its an exercise on its own trying to get new trousers on for fittings!

As of this morning I'm down to 14st 11lb, down from a known high of 22st 7lb so done pretty well so far. 1 year 3 months so far to lose this much weight. Aiming for around 13 and a half or maybe 13 stone.

Eleventh week weigh in:

Last Sunday - 19st 12lb
This Sunday - 19st 11lb

1lb loss

Inevitable after a meal out on Saturday and Sunday, time to work hard this week.

(Total loss since September '11 - 6st 2lb )

You're doing awesomely well Maxeh, 6st in 6 months is a brilliant acheivement, you'll have to make sure you put up before and after photos once you finish or even of how well you've done so far.

Personally I was in Disneyland Paris from Wednesday AM - Saturday PM so I let go and ate what I wanted, when I wanted so I've not lost any weight yet this week but my official weigh-in day is Wednesday so we'll wait and see.

Thanks mate, here's a picture from start to just a few mins ago:

Week 11 Weigh in:

Starting weight beginning of January 14st 6lb
Target weight end of June 11st

Last Monday 12st 8lb
This Monday 12st 5lb

3lb lost

YAY lost 2st 1lb since I started :D

My running is getting better, the last couple of runs I've managed to do the whole 2.8 miles without slowing down to walk! When I started I couldn't envisage being able to ever run all the way :)

Also started cycling to work now which might explain the extra 1lb loss.

Maxeh - that's awesome mate, you've made incredible progress, keep it up buddy :)

Maxeh - if iv been slack and missed it ... could i just ask what you have done to drop a stone a month ... btw welldone mate

Nothing out of the ordinary mate, I do go to the gym 6 times a week though.

Intake is 1500-1750cals a day, a lot of veg, very little sugar (diabetic).

Hi all,

Very late in this thread but been reading through and liking the motivation everyone gives each other and some equally great results.

I'm 6'3 and weigh 16.4 stone, my goal is 15 stone currently then will assess where I want to be then. I don't go to the gym but I do play football (5 aside three times a week and 11 aside once a week) so I do a lot of cardio, I don't seem to lose the weight I'd like though and I imagine that's down to my diet.

At the mo I've injured my foot so am sitting out football pretty much, only playing once a week. I've lost 6lb in the past 5 weeks which is quite pleasing and that's with a rubbish diet.

This is what it consists of:

Breakfast: None
Mornign snack: Apple/pear/some kind of fruit
Lunch: Pot of Quark (Low fat cheese, 30g protein, no carbs, got addicted to this stuff when I used to go to the gym
Afternoon snack: 2 slices of buttered brown toast
Tea:Chicken stir fry/Spag bol/Kedgeree/chicken and rice dishes (dreaded white rice)/Jacket Potatoe and beans/salad.

The tea's I'd like to keep although changing the rice to brown, I think I consume enough veg and meats in them.

I'm always out and about driving in my day job so I never get hungry really or think to eat hence the rubbish diet through the day, I like to wake up and go so recommendations on a quick breakfast would be good, same with the lunch. Is there any issues with the Quark? I'd like to keep it in the diet although it is quite suggary. Is buttered brown toast ok for breakfast? Obviously this would replace the afternoon toast I usually consume.

Cheers for any help given.

Oh and Rusty, do you have a copy of your excel spreadsheet you are recording your progress? I'd like to use something similar?
