Great performance from us overall considering we were missing four key players completely and the other didn't start.

Pushed Bayern all the way. Kept our shape and positions as a unit. Broke with speed and conviction, Negredo could have had us out of sight.

Joke of a decision to penalise Zaba for that hand ball but the ref was German.....

Bayern at full strength and a lot further along in terms of preparation and fitness just pipped us in the end considering that Dzeko chance which is encouraging signs from Pellegrini already.

Edit: Bugger he hasn't, he's only on the bench. Hopefully the 90 minutes spent on the bench with Fowler will at least help Borini realise what he's meant to be doing when he plays
