2013 Powerlifting Totals

Gonna put my weak ass "lifts" in just to compare myself to my last pb (2011). Slowly shedding weight back down, but progressing better than i expected, started back 6 weeks ago today after 2 years of phaggoty injuriesand being lazy.

crunchman -------- 55+ / 82.5+ / 125 -------- [97] ---- 262.5

Pulled that dl pb yesterday, my forearms were wrecked by the time I pulled it but I had some extra time so why not!
Switched to mixed grip and it went up almost effortlessly?!

Is there a need to do more reps mixed grip or is it best to use for when DOH eventually fails?

I've managed to get one of the PTs (actually the only one worthy of that title) - to setup a PB board at the gym.

I hope to test some 1RMs before my holiday. I'd like to pull 220kg for deads (at least) and hit at least 170 on squats. I doubt I'll get much more than 120kg for bench though :(

Gonna try for a 140kg squat tomorrow just to hit 400kg total.

I've realised today that no one above me has a bench that is equal or less than mine. But quite a few people below me have a higher bench.

Spot the weak lift!

That'd be immense.

Them gainz!!!!!

140kg would be an awesome achievement. 3 plates looks sexy as.

Smash it out!

Sure does, normally gets extra glances from onlookers. I swear our bars are made of cheese as there is noticeable bend on anything over 140KG, so much so you'll probably need to move the hooks down a notch to accomodate for it.

Yep. Repping them 3 plates for DL gets some looks. Can't wait till its 4 plates :D

If you can do three, you can do four.

Four-platers make everybody in my office gym stop and stare. EVen though it's not that much in the grand scheme of 2013 Powerlifting League Table. :)

Yeah our bars aren't high quality ones, and there's a decent bend with anything over 140kg - especially on your back, less visible on DLs as you're holding the bar at a wider anchor point than just the top of your back.

4 plates is even cooler as you can sit on the plates since they make a nice wide surface so you can just chill whilst sat on 180+ kg. People do stop and stare - especially when you're repping with that weight. Even better when you go "meh - warm up" :p

Updating mine, not done for a long time.

Kai -------- 112 / 120 / 175 (s) ------- [67] ---- 407

some decent jumps from 2012, hard to determine my bench as i no longer do flat bench.

Technically you're lighter so you should be in the higher position ;)

If that's the consensus I'll happily change it :p :D

Updated bro. Yet another person pushing me further down  I'll be out the top 20 soon!
