2013 Powerlifting Totals

Did a session with my PT tonight, new years totals to work out what my potential single reps are so we can guage building going forward, will post here so I can see my improvment as the year progreses.
Only made it back to the gym three months ago after a break of twelve years or so.

Bench 70 (6reps)
Squat 85 (6 reps)
Dead 90 (4 reps)

Bodyweight 82

Total 245
Grip gave way on deads, pleased with squat, had never had more than 65 on bar before, so things are looking up. Will try under and over grip for deads in future, will prefer no belt or grip etc until my technique is top notch, which we've basically been doing for several weeks now at lighter weights.

Can I use last years, seen as they have all been done fairly recent and that I've improved on them since (well not tested).

No need to do 1rm for the time being.

No, I will look into that, I don't think i am strong enough to be able to do any chinups to be quite honest. Maybe narrow grip for a few but that would be it.

You'll he surprised how quickly you will improve doing pull ups, you'll soon get the numbers up. As suggested though, try some neutral grips as well as they tend to be a bit easier
