2013 Powerlifting Totals

Stoodles since when did you weigh a hunn-eddd?

Dem sterons, I literally went from 88kg to 97kg within a couple of weeks of starting. As I was pretty much pre contest dieting up until that point, so a mix of eating properly again and the bloat from test, put all kinds of weight on. Not even good weight yet :(

kiwi --------------- 65+ / 95+(B) / 130(B) ------ [80] ------- 290

kiwi --------------- 65+ / 120(B) / 130(B) ------ [80] ------- 315

Just recently started GOMAD as I'm a hard gainer, guess the old "milk and squats" holds true...

Can you update my deadlift to 255kg for reps please :)
(2 bars were in use last night, im not sure if i pulled that on the 22kg or 20kg, so will say it was the 20kg bar :) )

also you havent updated my OHP to 110kg :p

Best OHP has been 87.5 x 3. Did this last night, almost fainted on the last rep as I forgot to breathe. Locked out and pretty much came crashing down with the bar but thankfully my two spotters were already briefed that things could get interesting so caught the bar!

I've had 172.5KG x 3 on Squats so want 180KG squat - will be trying this in two weeks :)

Gym is very funny about filming as there is a kiddies pool near by but I will try and get some videos.

Strong lifting there. Haven't seen you post round here much, definitely post up some videos and join in with discussions more.

Cheers mate :) Been lifting for a long time (7 years!?) but was misguided at the start and didn't perform compounds other than Bench Press. About 2 or so years ago I started training properly & drastically dropped the amount of Muay Thai I was doing and have had some decent gains since. I also started training with a mate who was a complete newbie 2 years ago and he's caught me right up and in some cases exceeded me (117.5/200/225 @ ~100). Any pressing movement though and I have a comfortable lead but then I should as I've been doing it for 5 years longer!

I'm not massively into 1RM as I've had too many injuries from doing them so I don't expect to add much to this for a while. Also on a cut come mid May which won't help :)

Sounds like my training history:) that would explain your strong bench press max !

Might as well throw my name into the mixer - these are using a smaller 15kg bar if that has any bearing on placement.

Tenzo -------- 100 / 105 / 105 + -------- [95] ---- 310

Mainly working on reps at the moment though :)

Update now got some new weights and nice to make the 400 club on a cut ;)

Tenzo -------- 115 / 120+ / 165 -------- [92] ---- 400

Managed to add a few extra KG during 'strength week'

MG42Maniac ------- 147.5 / 180(b) / 220(b) ------- [95.5] ----- 547.5

147.5kg Bench up from 142.5kg - was difficult but I had an extra 2.5-5kg in me. I didn't stop at any point it was just a slow steady rep. I find with weights above 125kg I have to kinda lower the weight slowly onto my chest which takes a bit out of me. Need to just bounce it off my chest like the fat powerlifters do! ;) I'll give 150kg a go this Wednesday (RC dependent) and get a video up.

Squats I got 180kg (last was 172.5 x3) for 2 decent deep reps. I had 3 people (all anal about form) watch me as I was paranoid I'd squat the weight but bottle the depth slightly rendering it slightly above parallel and thus worthless in my eyes. I got the first one up without too much difficulty so thought I'd try a 2nd one. 2nd rep was more of a struggle with my left knee going slightly and I don't think I'd have had a decent 3rd rep in me so called it a day with 2 reps. I reckon I've got 185kg-190kg in me but won't try it until next strength week.

I'm also down a kilo and a half as well - bonus!
