cheers guys, i went for a 110 but no movement at all haha, i think 107.5kg is within reach.

Dont worry deception, 2 weeks holiday starting on monday, i am pretty sure that my negative gains are going to be huge, although i am hoping for the fabled break from training gains.

Grrrr at my deadlift still, might give something a go on friday and see.
 
syla5 - your squats are quite powerful compared to your deads..

squat - 110
and bench finally 65!

hoping to reach 80+ by the end of the year!

so my goals are

180 dead
140 squat
80 bench

possible?

5'9@78kg - 3 extra kg since i started - 4 months ago!

hah, doubt it! I was out of action for 6 weeks and came back stronger (although this cut is draining my strength at the moment!). You'll probably come back and smash PB's in the first week :p

Not impossible if everything's on point, just don't rush to chase numbers at the expense of form as ultimately longterm it'll set you back when you have to relearn form and work on weak areas (core etc) that were neglected for the sake of a sooner PB.

im on stronglifts 5x5, had my rep dead as 130 but wasn't happy with my form so i dropped it down to 110 and im working my way up again.

i know what you mean and im prepared to drop the weight if my form is wrong :) i should be alright, but then again i haven't hit the wall yet so we'll see!

That was from last month when i leaned right out managed to maintain strength but the past 8 months ive added 10kg to my squat and thats it! Hit a wall that i just cant get past no matter what I do. :(

deadlifts back on the rise since I pulled something in my glute/hip back in january, up to 170x5 Also ive started using wraps for squats and i love it, my form feels much tighter.
 
Pretty sure my form is ok. Just feels better when doing heavy sets, sometimes i get some knee wobble on the last rep but ive not seen it happen when using them. Going to try for 160 tonight depending on how i feel.

Yeap it bugs me! i find it annoying that my deadlift isnt at a similar ratio to my squat as others. If it was my DL would be 200 already :(

Short legs/long torso has been mentioned as a potential problem, but really i think i just need to MTFU and lift more weight!
 
As it's the end of the uni year coming up me and my friends will be doing competition style pbs. 3 attempts at the 3 lifts. Haven't gone for a PB since I last posted one so should be good.

Hopefully going to try 90 140 180. :D
 
Best of luck, friendly competition is good but try to avoid visiting snapcity ;) Speaking of which I saw a mixture of an picking up an atlas stone combined with a BB BOR, mother of god his back will be in pieces tomorrow.

Did a 140 squat yesterday and it felt super easy I've got 150 in me np. Heavy Deadlifts tomorrow. The bench I've had for a while now.

i check this thread a lot, so figured id post! will try for pbs in a few weeks and should be able smash them all except deadlift. squats i find hard without belt, not sure what i'm doing wrong with form or if its just a weakness in lower back.
