As I said earlier, if Ings and Origi start the season in good form I can't see Sturridge getting a look in.
Neither will get as many goals as a fit Sturridge will but both will get their fair share and contribute far more to the team
Sorry, meant one or the other. I expect Origi to start upfront on his own but Ings seems the more likely to get game time and be happy with a substitute roll at the moment. Honestly can't see Sturridge being here after Christmas. It's not going to be Ings and Origi, it's Firmino and Origi. The fact that Ings hasn't started nor come on at HT is quite telling in regards to who'll start the season.

I know. Sturridge would get a first team place in most Premiership teams so I can't see him being happy with the role he could potentially have at Liverpool this season. His options are either like it and lump it, work far harder than he does and risk further injury or look for a move.I think you'll be surprised re Sturridge. I've always said it's difficult to see how Sturridge leaves - who can afford him and would want him and who could we get with the money we'd get for him? Sturridge for 60% of the time is better than who we'd sign as a replacement for 100% of the time.
