2019 NFL Season Thread

It is bizarre, isn't it? Like has been said, it's one thing to try and clear house and start again, but they will have nothing to actually build on, surely? (Miami of course)

yup, confused on this as they've got rid of 2 youngish 1st rounders who are decent and who i imagine would be part of a rebuild,

they seem to be following grudens raiders guide on how to rebuild, but gruden has a stupid contract so more a case of they have to back him :D

Jalen Ramsey quoted as saying he would like to play for the Titans or Raiders.... I don't think I've ever heard anyone that isn't already contracted to Tennessee say they want to play for us!?!

I've never seen anything like it in the NFL. MLB sure, but even then the teams have a farm system and players locked up to minor league contracts. Not the case with the NFL.

Antonio Brown farted in my face and didn't pay his bill, NFL star's doctor says

Ok Brown is a moron but this free season on him now is going OTT.

Not sure I agree. He's much more than a moron. He's a genuinely bad person. He's left a wake of unpaid bills, outright cheating some people, beat women, raped some and been a locker room cancer everywhere he's been.

Personally I don't think they can go too far with him, and I hope they do.

If this doctor had any dignity he would have bashed him out/refused to treat him if someone was acting in such a manner. About the money? Sue his ass.

Releasing a story about someone farting in your face? Have a bit of dignity and get off the bandwagon man.

Sounds a bit like you're blaming the victim here. Could the doctor have handled it better? Sure. Does that mean he's wrong? Not a chance.

And FTR he is suing AB.

Minshew Mania!!!!!!! I beIieveeeeee!!!!!

Is Foles going to be Foles'ed? :D

can you believe foles' luck ? :D

Titans being the Titans....... UGH!

had a look at the stats and mostly they looked ok, until you got to sacks (titans allowed 9 jags 0) and penalties ( 9 v jags 4)

i know stats arn't 100% reliable, but those 2 categories usually make a lot of difference on a result :(.

tbh he's brought it on himself, he's always after attention, hope he's having fun :D

Titans of old, I thought we were past all the schoolboy errors. Play calling was terrible and I've never really been sold on Mariota but last night I was hoping he would take Vrabel with him.

this is what i was saying about stats not always being reliable, offensivly titans were better, more yards receiving and rushing, also had close to 11 mins more possession

then you have the penalties titans were 9 for 101 yds  , jags 4 for 30

as for play calling there seems to be a lot of the dodgy calls going around.

one that i really hate for the rams, that's not just this year, is when they insist on passing wide at the line hoping to gain yardage, did it against the saint when the guy was covered by 3 saints defenders.

they did mention on commentary why goff didn't change the play as he should have seen the players stacked to that side.
