Levy will realise at some point a big shiny stadium is irrelevant if you keep finishing 5-7th all the time. I think he'll been keen to back Conte and see how it goes.

Smiths gone. Can't believe it.

I don't like that decision. We're on a poor run but we waited a long time to get a decent manager and a bit of stability in the club. Who the hell are we going to get instead?

Couldn't agree more. All the good he's done for us with relatively steady progress over the past few years and this is how we repay him? I get the owners want European football but that's going to take years. We've just lost our best player and have had a bad run of injuries, what is he expected to do?

I don't know. Unless they've got someone spectacular already lined up I think it's the wrong decision.

I think they are just clearing the floor in anticipation of Ole leaving United. They know that if they don't move quickly the likes of Barca or Real will snap him up. You don't get many chance to snag a guy like Ole so you have to be ready when they do.
