If you have a complaint about moderation take it up with the mods not me lol

A complaint about moderation, what on are you talking about?

For some reason you don't want us to discuss @thenewoc's claim that cutting red-tape will balance the huge cost of the mini-budget, why is that?

It's literally a perfectly on point discussion of the exact topic of this thread.

Could it perhaps be that the reason you don't want it discussed, is that you're well aware that if we look at it in any kind of detail then it will quickly become obvious that the claim was complete nonsense?

I was under the impression that Brexit discussion was limited to the thread in SC - are you saying this is no longer the case?

Eh?

Why are you still trying to disingenuously conflate this with Brexit?

The only person mentioning Brexit, is you. I can only assume it's a silly attempt to try and get this line of discussion shut down.

So a few options after catching up on the last couple of pages:
  1. I nuke this thread
  2. This thread goes to Speakers Corner
  3. You guys learn to play nicely
I'd like to stick with option 3, so play nicely guys.

It's the same people who ruin all the threads, they 'debate' in bad faith, deflect and take things off topic, only reply to posts that suit their argument, fail to reply when they can't back up their point. Why is the option not to get those people out of the thread or acting in good faith? Options 1 & 2 punish the majority for the acts of the minority. Option 3 isn't specific enough to the minority ruining the thread and means option 1 or 2 is inevitable.

I wonder if anything will come of the Truss meeting with the OBR today? Apparently it's highly unusual for a PM to be present.

Could we have two thread so the people who wish to argue about their favourite team can continue arguing there and people who want to keep up with the actual economic ramifications have a thread to discuss in?

Go to mumsnet if you want to troll/argue?!

the outcome will be Truss and her cabal acussing the OBR of being a bunch of lefties n11ck style and then declaring that they are going to disolve the OBR and take care of the review of budgetary and fiscal policy internally by apointing JRM as they head auditor.
