But to suggest that Truss and Karteng could somehow risk their careers and essentially their freedom on something like that is frankly ridiculous. What I would say though, is that they are clearly stupid enough to have been manipulated into lining up the dominoes.

Please don’t take my comment as a criticism, I was just adding some extra context. :)

The funny thing is, Chris acknowledges his ignorance on the subject but still had the confidence to say “if you’re so smart, why aren’t you making bank”…

As to your other point, it could well be the perfect example of Hanlon’s Razor. It’s so hard to tell. But if Truss and Co. aren't making significant backhanders from these doggy deals then they’re even more stupid than they appear. :D

Your reading comprehension skills are the worst I've ever seen, can you at least try to read things properly because having to repeat myself is getting tiresome.

I said "if you think paying £1k simply because of government incompetence i suppose you'll have no problem paying £1k in extra taxes"

Couldn’t care less - have been net contributor for years and a grand is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. Are you just worried you’re benefits will be cut?
 
Wasn't you the one who was whining a while ago about others putting words in your mouth? Because assuming I'm on benefits would be making an ASS out of U and ME. :p

If you think a grand is peanuts in the grand scheme of things then I'll take that as a no you wouldn't have a problem with paying an extra £1k in taxes, at least we've arrived at an answer.

how else can you balance the budget? She is promising even more tax cuts in November.

something has to be cut. They have already said today one thing might the the triple lock going a freeze on all public services increases so in affect a with inflation at 10%, it’s a 10% cut. That’s a massive cut To services already cut to the bone.

Being on benefits is nothing to be ashamed of so no need to overreact - did you get the Assume thing from a mgt training course? Well done for trying to improve your prospects.

As I said above I couldn’t care less about an extra grand in tax but as I also said above that’s highly unlikely with current govt policy lol.

No but did fantastic for the top 10% in the country. Their income has sky rocketed in the last 12 years, myself included.

Still demonstrating those terrible comprehension skill to the world i see, here, I'll help you out. When i said "assuming I'm on benefits would be making an ASS out of U and ME" i was using age old internet slang to point out that you were making yourself look like an ass for making an assumption (I would ask if you know what the word assumption means but I'll save us both some time as you seem to be struggling to even read things properly)

I don't have a clue what a mgt training course is let alone why I'd want to improve my prospects, is this one of those typical right-wing paranoia things where you see benefits claimants hiding under the bed or something?

Who said anything about the current government? Have you been drinking?

When you say “parity hysteria” do you mean that some people were worried that the pound would devalue versus the dollar?
