2080ti cards failing ?

I had exactly same issue when trying to RMA a Titan I had to buy direct from them, in the end I nearly binned the card and had to get my NVIDIA UK account manager to get involved. They can be a nightmare for RMA's as your finding out.

I remember you mentioning this before and I have tried to avoid dealing with them since.

Unfortunately they are the only place you can get Titan cards from and I have also had problems with them.

My problem was I ordered a pair of Titan Vs before I realised you could not SLI them. When I asked them to cancel one of the cards (with plenty of notice) they still insisted on sending me both several days later.

Really, that bad Gibbo? That's very worrying, I'll update this thread with my progress over the next few days. It's strange though, when my Shield Tablet developed a fault 3 years ago they were very efficient: I talked to online chat and within minutes the agent had sent me an email with the Fedex shipping label and instructions on how to send it back . Now the online chat is only for technical support they tell me and you have to phone the call centre instead and they don't deal with the returns themselves it's some other team that you can't contact directly.

Obviously after my Shield Tablet RMA experience I had no qualms ordering from them, it seems I was mistaken.

Just keep on at them, could just be a glitch in the matrix and your been unfortunate, am sure they will sort it.

I've had to RMA my Gigabyte 2080 because of the black screen issue. Thankfully I bought it off Overclockers so Bailey sorted my RMA out quickly and it's now been sent on to Gigabyte for repair.
Hopefully it'll all be good when I get it back.

It's unstable when up to temperature most likely. Which means **** quality components.

Incoming Nvidia memory scandal 2.0, or is it 3.0. When your paying £1000+ You would at least expect them to use some decent ram...

Having been through an horrendous time with Nvidia recently returning an unwanted 2080 and having to wait over 3 weeks just to get an RMA number, I would certainly not want to be getting a GPU direct from them in the future!!

I had that also with a Titan XP, never ever again buy direct from Nvidia.

I had to threaten with legal action to get my refund after a month or so.
