Looking at getting the PG348Q since it's not over 1000 pound anymore but worried by the time I get the funds at the end of next week it will be back up to it's normal price :(

That's half the reason why I chose the X34a instead seen as they use the same panel. I got lucky with mine too, hardly any BLB :)

Very nice Dice, Enjoy :D

Awesome panel, still love mine. And yeah as the above comment i've gone 144-100hz. The difference there is minor for anything other than fps games. And even then its nothing to worry about.

i've had my PG348Q develop an issue within a few months of purchase. Had a brand new panel swapped at the door within a few days via asus. Their warranty may be dodgy on other stuff. Warranty on their panels had been awesome in my experience.

Don't forget that in order to see the full benefit of the likes of 100 and 144HZ refresh rate displays, you need to be hitting 100/144 FPS too.

Out of curiosity, what was the issue ?

Developed i assume a problem with the backlight, or could be the screen. What appeared as a blue smudge about 10mmx30mm that was noticeable on light/white backgrounds.

Could have been like this the day I got it as it wasn't hugely noticeable. But once noticed was rather annoying.

Ouch can see the PG348Q has jumped up around £300 at OCUK now! Still under £1000 elsewhere though and has been for months, why does it keep fluctuating so much at OCUK? :\

Has anyone else felt that their 34" ultra wide keeps shrinking?, mine feels super small now compared to when I first got it, can't help feeling that 38" would be the sweet spot for 21:9.

Yep, When I got my PG348Q a few days ago I was like "Woooaaahhhh".

Now I'm like "Why does this look small ?" :D
