Well scougar was right in recommending the VX550w.

It's an excellent PSU for the money...it's also made by CWT which have proved themselves before with the Thermaltake Toughpower 750w (many of the Corsair internals are identical actually).

Are all of Corsairs PSU's now made by them?

Should be fine, but if you google the Corsair 550W you'll see that it's in the same price range...and I would choose the Corsair over the OCZ.

ok so it's out of them two. because the site im on doesn't sell Corsair 550W but the site pnp is only £3.95 for City Link Next Day so that why i wanna buy from there...
 
I can’t honestly see what why the OCZ StealthXStream has a reputation for loud nose?? It’s the quietest PSU I’ve had and is virtually silent, excellent PSU :)
