the problem is not "more memory = better", its whether it gets used or not.ihatelag said:Then I will run my RSVP special 1337 16GB ram club and make sure you're not invited!
Anyways, it's cool to see many people using 4GB of ram, at home, my computer uses 4GB DD2 and the ram is shoddy TwinMos ram (4 x 1GB)...but even with the shoddy ram the boot times are awesome and the games loading times and movies start times from load to run are extremely fast! Im v.happy with it!
Those who are in two minds about upgrading the RAM, it's definately worth it!

Main PC 4 GB Ram
Workstation 4GB Ram
Other Half's PC 2GB ram
2 Laptops, both 2GB Ram
Tablet PC 768MB
5 Servers, 2.5GB Ram, 2GB, 1.5GB Ram, 1GB Ram and 384MB accordingly
2 XDA Mini-s 1GB each
2 Raxr v3x 1GB each.
EDIT - Forgot Camera ram,
4GB Extreme III in Canon 350D and 1GB in my iccle Sony Cam
...so it's now 29.2GB
And a stack load of ram lying around...does that count as well?
