I love how you say the pagefile is useless on high ram pc's...

ha ha, yep,

I've turned my pagefile off and I can still not fill 2Gb even with BF2 and MS FS 2004 going.

For gaming its useless, and don't say for the future because when it arrives your PC will be so far behind it wont be able to process that data.

Its ONLY for people who do a lot of photoshop/3D models etc.

CR.

odd why people keep saying that this 4 gigs of ram has not been of benefit to me . i posted screenshots of my ram usage and my system is a lot better than before running my rendering apps.

also my max overclock has not been affected. with 2 gigs of ram all i could manage was 2.9ghz ram running at 194mhz 2.5-3-2-10 2T. with 4 gigs of ram the overclock is the same as so are the timings.

so its a win win situation for me .

I have only 2 modules double sided and I find I have to run them at 2T unfortunately. They arent even supposed to work at all so Iam not complaining just saying for reference, 16chips per module!

on Intel....its all 2T from the get go.

Is that right, it'll do 1T but isnt stable. Got 34 secs superpi that way :)

LOL @ this thread. Given me a good laugh before I head off to sleep, il be dreaming tonight of joining the elite 4 gig club ;)

The majority of purchases and discussions on this board are a waste. Very few people need anything more then a well setup socket a system.
I think he allready knows what you mean to say and isnt bothered so no point going on
