Placed in basket, selected all the delivery info etc, secure code entered, confirm order, site crashed!

If it's in my basket showing clear as day then the sale should be honored.

I'm guessing OcUK will just brush this under the carpet rather than admit fault.
 
Thought I was onto a winner then, finally managed to get a delivery date and put my card security code in, then rather than the order confirmed page I got the "We got none left! Sucks to be you trying to checkout for 20 mins!" page.

Oh well, can't really complain, it was a cracking offer out of the blue - no hard feelings ocuk, and congrats to anyone who managed to beat the chaos and get one of the fifty :)

I got that message when it timed out on the secure code.

It was fun and frustrating while it lasted but it seems the hosting company did not allocate sufficient server resources for this promotion hence all the time outs.
 
Booo! I had one in my basket, and spent about 10 minutes trying to get through the checkout (site was obviously getting saturated).
By the time it finally let me put in my credit card details, it informed me that the drive was now not in stock.
Not Fair !!!! :mad:
 
Refreshed at 1:30, 48 left, clicked Buy and perservered for 25m to get through the checkout and MasterCard secure doodah but finally finished the order and have received email confirmation, so hope it worked :)

I know. But on the text box where it asks for a preferred delivery date I, in a panic and rush, selected the 18th (Monday) without thinking!

So I've paid for Next Day but probably won't actually be getting it tomorrow :D:(
 
I had one in my basket from the get-go also, but couldn't for the life of me get into the checkout page, then when I finally did, it was still in my basket, put all my delivery details in and then was told there were none left.
Complete shambles.
 
I don't understand why all the 1 post counters are complaining and saying they will never return. OCUK do great prices generally and how you can say no more business when missing ONE offer with only 50 units is beyond me. It was a promo. Nothing more than luck involved. I don't understand how you rate a company after one promo transaction.

Managed to get one in my checkout (they appeared after the redirect became live) and despite (finally) clicking on confirm order (after putting del date/C Card etc)
Never got a confirmation and my account says no outstanding orders !

Guess that means I missed out

Well done to the lucky few, I would like to say it was fun, however I think Frustrating is more truthful. :rolleyes:

Will OCUK be congratulating all the lucky winners in this "lottery" and posting who was lucky enough to win ? :confused:
