Will see if I can try it in my remapped one also.

I will be looking out for your results with interest mate.

I'm going to take a video of mine now i think, because some people think that the autocar results were from a vRS that Skoda had fettled with before giving it to the press!

Not had a chance yet - sorry - but will try tomorrow hopefully!

I heard that too, supposedly running 200bhp as opposed to 180.

Im confident mine is more than 200 now, so the times will be interesting.

Can bikes play? i really dont want to embarrass mysefl in the focus :p

HI there

Yes definetely, be really interesting to see what bikes can do and if there are any sub 1s ones. :D

My batteries just died on the camera mid-run!

Yey they only take 8 hours to charge again! Looks like it's going to be tomorrow.

I'll update this later. Been at Enfield all day at the BCA bidding on random cars.

Almost bought an MG TF, Disco 2.5 TD, Jaguar S-type, Jaguar XK8, Merc 600, MR2 and a few others...No success today though.

Going back on Saturday though, too busy today to really commit to anything.

hah, I dont think thats attainable - at least by my bike. At bruntingthorpe yesterday 0-100 was 6.6 seconds on the datalogger, so I reckon about 2 seconds will be the target. Must admit I'm hugely impressed by your car though - 2.5 is a great time, and I certainly wont be trying to beat your car from the lights if i ever come across it :D

Had a go tonight in a 1.9 straight diesel Pug Partner van 30-70 in 20.9 seconds ! (good help if the speedo was out as I had to hit 4th straight after 70 on it)

Please let him submit that, just so im not last :p

Just timed mine in my head so this could be way out and I didnt record it as it was wet and I used 3rd gear. 2nd gear would just result in some wheel spin action.

Did 35-75 which is 30-70gps in about 5 seconds could be closer to 6

Before you all jump on me this could be miles out and I admit that. When it drys out I will record it and actually do it in 2nd as 3rd gear at 30 is below my Turbo goodness point. ;)

2nd and 3rd gear, 30 to 70, tried it twice tonight using my GPS, but counted in my head. Did it 3 times, was always just under 6 seconds. I cant realyl vouch for how accurate this is, but should be about right.

wheres the guys with busas and zzr1400s etc

almost certain theres some on the forum

My uncle has a Busa, he used to race scramblers and trikes so he's pretty crazy, although a bit calmer now he's 47 lol. That bike is a beast :D

6.4 seconds in a 1.4 Golf S on a fairly :p steep downhill slope. 3rd/4th. Could have used 2nd but was trying to hold a camera phone against the speedo at the same time and the initial jolt of changing gear would have been a pain.

It felt insanely quick. To think some cars on here can do it in less than that on a normal flat bit of road is quite worrying :D
