£850 is the leaked price for the 3080 20Gb so the extra 10Gb is costing you £200 so around £20 per GB.
On that basis a 24Gb 3080 would cost £930. Obviously there are more cores/shaders etc on the 3090 but you are paying £500 for those, not the memory.

Not the one I saw. I mean we all know if the price is £850 then AIBs will range from Palit at £850 to Asus and EVGA at £1050.

Wont be the first time they have done that. I bought a titan Xp and then a few months later they launched the 1080ti and it was 96% of the performance of the titan, just less memory. Since AIB versions had better cooling and power and overclocks, some 1080ti were faster.
If they need to in order to compete with AMD, they will launch one that makes the 3090 a total waste of money.
Just like the 3080 was 2x 2080?
Just likke the 2070 is faster than the 2080ti and the 3080 is twice as fast as the 2080?

Some of those results are only 5% faster than a 3080 lol
And no doubt some games will be 0%, I advise you do not buy a 3090 as obviously by your recent posts do not rate it even though it is not launched yet.

I have alwsy said the chinese one is running at low 1700s boost vs 1950 on the 3080. Question is why though?
Unless you compare both a 3080 and 3090 on the same/a similar rig it is not going to be comparable, his CPU is good enough for 1440p and 4k results but he seems to get higher score on 1080p than 1440p which it should not, some claim his RAM is holding it back.
He did at least provide pretty good proof he has the card.
