30xx Series Founders Edition

You not worried about some dodgy person coming round your house?

Nope, there's always a chance of someone being a wrongun in any interaction but it shouldn't deter you from a face to face sale. Far more likely to have issues selling on eBay.

If you're that worried, just have someone else at the property with you or make it very clear you have their face on camera :D

Ah fair enough :).

Edit - twice I've been in a Zoom meeting almost jumping out of my chair with my Telegram alert :o:cry:. More EU 3090s dropped.

Just looking Ebay there are some odd prices, unless I'm missing something. For example a new 3060Ti FE just sold about to sell for £770+. Another of the same card (used) with a while to go at £640. There are a good selection of Ti cards on O/C's sight below £700. Seems odd with the cards now available for people to still paying silly prices for FE on Ebay. I guess some might say all the prices are sill vs FE RRP (if you can get one).

Since deciding the 3090 FE drop was too rich for me on Tuesday, had hoped some 3080's or 3070's might drop. Clearly not, maybe next week.

Ordering new build this weekend (based on i5-12600k). Still thinking of hanging onto my 1660 super for a bit until I get some luck. Although I suppose I could pick up £300+ if I sold it.
Maybe some drunken ordering later might lead to a 3060 for under £500 to tide me over, so only a £200 jump - but will at least feel like I'm making progress.

Got a feeling it won't be until middle of the month at the earliest.

We had a 3090 drop a few days ago, the French, Italian and Spanish got the same today and zee Germans, Dutch and Belgians will probably get a similar drop next week.

Could very well be totally wrong too :o

That's because 3060ti FE is non-LHR. ALL the 3060ti in stock at OcUK are LHR. Miners want non-LHR which is why they won't pay £700 for those cards on OcUK but might pay £770 for an FE.

In essence, what you have described is evidence that LHR is actually having some effect, it is making GPUs cheaper than they would otherwise be, albeit still at high prices. Or to use an analogy, instead of getting punched in the face and then kicked in the head while you are on the deck, you are just getting punched in the face.

I saw LHR mentioned in a review on a well known global retailers site - reviews were quite emotional relating to not being made aware that cards were LHR. Makes sense now - must have been 'mining folk'. Cheers.

Ah that's a shame.

What's really annoying is, I got telegram and the last drop for the 3080, I was on it like a rash. But what I did wrong was, I chose to collect in store and when it went to payment it wouldn't let me have that option, there wasn't a option to then change it to delivery so I missed out by the time I did it all again. I only live 15 min drive from the shop.

When I got my 3080 I had lost my bank card so canceled it, later that day the drop came on No competitor talk and I got one, only to scream when I realised I couldn't use that card. Luckily they kept my order so I was able to use gf's card and got the next shipment 2 weeks later. I doubt other sellers are so forgiving.

I've recently only seen FE cards dropped at another competitor to O/C (no name mentioned - because I think that's little against the rules).

What do you mean recently? That competitor is literally the only place in the UK that sells them.

Sorry - I was not clear. Since I have been checking for FE stock on Telegram "the competitor" is the only place I have seen them. I assumed previously they came direct from Nvidia UK - maybe not the case.

Ah yeah, the competitor is the store that it links you to if you ever manage to find a ‘buy now’ button on the nVidia website. The FE Partalert Telegram channel gives you the direct competitor link when it pops up.

I got a reminder to get a 3090 FE on Tuesday, to rich more me (holding out for a 3080 or 3070Ti) - but I guess I could have just brought and sold it sharpish and get a nice profit. Maybe I should have.
