30xx Series Founders Edition

I got a reminder to get a 3090 FE on Tuesday, to rich more me (holding out for a 3080 or 3070Ti) - but I guess I could have just brought and sold it sharpish and get a nice profit. Maybe I should have.
Barely any profit looking at 2nd hand prices - they were in stock for ages. Demand for them is not that high. And you can only ever buy 1 from NV store so any chances of a 3080 or 3070ti for yourself would be up in smoke.

He's talking about a brand new card. They're selling for £400 on top at auction

Yes - new ones.

The 3090 FE drop was £1399 I recall, can see a couple on auction with a day or so to go already at £1750.
But I guess a card I would get would be to enjoy, not to turn into a market trader. Although maybe my mind could be swayed with a £400 to £500 profit.

I was thinking about it today, checked on eBay and some are selling for £2000+.(not all of them, but that's the average)

I wouldn't usually scalp someone, usually, but I've not had a good gaming rig for 2 years now. I gave up my 1080ti so my son had a good gaming rig (Christmas 2019)

I refuse to pay silly money, so I'm honestly thinking of jumping on the band wagon and making a profit, 'if' I can

might just follow you - but will be sure to add to my listing that I am selling “an unwanted gift!!”

Boom, think I just bagged a 3070. Never bought something so quickly, slight panic job as I was ideally hoping for a 3070Ti but the 3070 should be a nice jump from a Vega 56.

Managed to bag a 3090....ordered and received a 3080Ti for £1500 earlier this week but luckily hadn't opened it!

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition 8GB GDDR6X - I thought the 3070 has non X GGDR memory?

Already salivating at the thought of more power from my Vega 56, which is no slouch but I do need more for new games @ 1440p and high refresh, plus VR. Looking forward to using DLSS :D.
