Dad-to-be Robinson, from Northern Ireland, is said to have opened the container to get some paperwork and passed out when he made the grim discovery.

A pal said: "When he opened the container up and saw all the dead bodies, he was absolutely horrified - as anyone would be - and called the ambulance service who in turn alerted the police.

"I heard the container was refrigerated - the temperature was -25 degrees and the bodies were frozen and had been dead for some time."

Sounds like it was the driver that found the bodies and called the ambulance service

when someone gets arrested and charged I think the police should have access and the right to freeze/temporarily close peoples social media accounts

Got charged probably because they couldn't keep him arrested any longer.. charges can be dropped. It's a shame majority of the public see charged = found guilty.

This will be a very long and complex case..

It will also be HUGELY expensive, hopefully it will also show to those who care just how porous our borders are and just how many people are coming in illegally. The next thing is the authorities will be offering an amnesty to illegals already here if they come forward with information. Further confirming how soft we are. We need to sharpen up. There's a reason people make rash illegal journeys to the UK, at relatively very high financial cost, knowing they can just disappear when they get here with little chance of discovery and even less of being sent back.

They were Chinese-looking and had Chinese passports apparently not exactly unreasonably for it to be released that they were possibly Chinese! Let’s people come forward etc... Now it seems some are Vitnamese and Vietnamese people have come forward. That’s in part because of some evidence one of the victims left that enabled her to be identified.

The Barry George conviction was a miscarriage of justice, and you are naive if you think that is the only wrongful conviction that occurs, they often have and do.
But the fact of that does not mean wrongdoers should not be brought to justice.

If he was guilty or innocent he would have had to open the door at some point.
If being guilty on finding the people were dead in his vehicle, it would look best for him if he was the one to call the emergency services.

Someone being young and having a family does not make it impossible for them to commit a serious crime.

Slab Murphy was a chief of staff for the PIRA. Had a farm that sat on either side of the border. Known for decades to be smuggling. Last year I think it was the terrorism task force raided brothels in Northern Ireland linked to the INLA.
