How dare you! What if It had RGB all around it? You'd be all over it.
30th January according to the UK NVIDIA page.I seem to one of the few people out there who just doesn't like the look of the FE cards. They just look cheap to me. So AIB it is.
Anyway I've now succumbed to the hype? When do these go on sale?

Not initially - as the 5000 series will sell relatively quickly and that'll mean that the 4000 series hold their price for a little longer. I'd expect the 4070 Ti Super to start to drop slightly in price by the summer.
odd choice to increase the power and reduce the size ?
I'll be honest I like the look, looks sleek smart and simple. It's also 2 slots.I seem to one of the few people out there who just doesn't like the look of the FE cards. They just look cheap to me. So AIB it is.

If a 5070 really does perform the equivalent of a 4090 then fair enough, but I can’t see that being true - at least in raw performance and not including any DLSS or AI frame gen
Wondering how the heat dissapation is gonna be, are we back to the usual FE being absolutely terrible at it? Because I can't understand how they made this 2 slot and small when other aibs have it at 3.5+ slots with triple fans...

I doubt it with a 30% increase in cuda but a lower boost clock.Well they made outlandish claims for the 40 series over the 30 series which were based on framegen being used on the former so I see no reason why they wouldn't use the same smoke and mirrors.
I reckon the 5090 will average 50% faster than the 4090 on average.
I would wait a couple weeks, if you have a £799 budget you'll get a better deal with the 5xxx series. How does the 4070ti super stack up against the new cards, was going to get the 4070ti super for £799.
I think it was mentioned that the 5090FE is a 3-board design? - It'll be interesting to see how third party's make a water block for that.
