Its fake performance though, you get higher input lag, ghosting and artifacts, if you're happy with a substantial drop in quality just to see higher numbers on the FPS counter then go for it.

Nvidia has switched its focus to AI and now its looking to sell its AI to gamers in place of real performance gains.
 
You won't be getting any of the FE's - They are always purchased by bots/scalpers who know the webpage has changed before even SCAM do.

If like my 4090 Zotec have them at MSRP then I will just purchase a Zotec again.

Oh wow, wonder what the likely hood is of seeing some big drops on current cards soon then.If I see bargain in the meantime on a 4070ti super or 4080 super I will go for one of them.

50% jump gen to gen would be great, however i can see it only applying to the 5090. The 5080 and 5070 will likely be much smaller as they have been in previous years

Can’t wait for the reviews to come out with some proper testing

If the 5070 real life speeds are anything like what they say in DLSS 4.0 games, then unless you're getting one of those cards for less than the cost of a 5070 ($549) I don't think I'd bother.

I presume there's no news on review embargo dates yet?

I'm assuming they'll do their usual scummy tactic of synchronising with the release date/time so you have to buy blind.

I doubt most people notice the difference.
Real performance gains would be much slower without AI assistance now.
 
I'm a bit worried about how much of these performance gains are based on using multi frame gen in the new cards. I mean, you can already quadruple your frame rate by using X4 FG with Lossless Scaling using any GPU and all for about £6.
