5800X Boost set to 5050Mhz all cores with AMD Curve Optimizer

I just bumped it up to 16 threads I'm seeing 70-80% utilization of all 16 threads.

5950x should be really really good in this game for 240hz monitors. I'm maxing out around 220 is sparse scenes, 150-180 downtown.

I started using Eco Mode to see if it would use less voltage than stock at boost clocks. Now I'm seeing 1.38-1.4v in games with the occasional 1.42. Warzone was mostly boosting to 4750 with 14 render threads, now 4650 with 16 render threads.

What CPU do you have?
I have a 5800X, so 8 core/16 thread.
Thread usage has increased since upping it to 14. This was mostly in downtown...

How does regular negative offset work when not using curve optimizer? I read something about an inverse relationship between vcore and vid but can't find the post right now. Also, should my LLC be set to lowest if using stock boost?

I got my new 5950x sample today and you know what, it's the same trash silicon quality as the previous one. I can't even start to describe the anger I'm feeling right now... Trying to add 25mhz, insta crash... Why is AMD allowing their "best chip" be shipped with such bad silicon quality? I'm not paying premium to get low quality silicon.
How do you know its not the motherboard / something else?
Have you tried it or the previous one in another system?

My tests have been done the same way, just DOCP activated, didn't have any effect of the overclock I'm sad to say.

Ugh, this sounds more like PEBKAC to me.

Please provide more information, explaining your system configuration, BIOS settings, system specs etc.

It has been posted many times, again I gave you the information in post#381 about post#62 that you should have read if you want to know since your an engineer. I even toss in quote for you check out from a Motherboard manufacture also along with AMD.
I am not trying to be a dick to you .Release date for the fixes has also been posted.December along with a video on some stuff Post#386

CPU Frequency Cannot Go Turbo Frequency
Note. This issue should be common issue on all motherboard vendor
This issue happens when using Ryzen 5000 CPU + PBO enable + adjust CPU voltage
Symptom: CPU frequency locks at base frequency and will not boost to turbo
Solution: No ETA

ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) BIOS 2702.

I have tried both manual overclock, 4.6Gghz, 4 llc, 1.244vcore, 1,216 load. Stable but hits 90c.

PBO settings with and without curve optimizer, no added mhz or else system crash some cores boosts to 5024, but that's it. Everything else is on auto in BIOS with DOCP profile.

BTW stop being a f... dick! If you have a problem with what I wrote then ignore, pretty simple logic huh...
Good luck.

I run 4.8 all core at 1.35v is that too high?
Also what's all this curve business I have a Gigabyte 570 ultra, how do I do similar on this?
5800X right?
Curve optimizer is in bios but if you run all core oc that different to PBO and curve. Curve shifts voltages and clocks per ccx or per core. Video on PBO and settings in the first post

Did I just read someone said it boosts to 5025mhz, followed with, and that's it!!!!

Peoples expectations here are beyond unreasonable, I would simply refer user to go look at the reported claimed speeds written on the physical box, thank you.
