5800X Boost set to 5050Mhz all cores with AMD Curve Optimizer

Does not the AMD CPU's carry a 3 years warranty. With degradation, what is a horrible shocking loss over 5 years in PC gaming FPS. 1FPS-3FPS.
Are AMD engineers just stupid. I am not wondering about these things.Hell I had 7 AMD Ryzen CPU's in the last two years,I could not imagine 3 years.
Why are people scared of that word degradation. I know what it means I just do not get the fear part in a CPU degradation but a GPU overlclock or underclock not a peep about it,in fact people shunt mod there GPUs to trick the GPU that it is running lower voltage for 1FPS-4fps on a PC game or benchmark.

What im trying to work out. Is this PBO 2? Everything I've read says PBO 2 will be coming out in Dec with AGESA 1.1.8.0, However This Curve Optimizer, which sounds like PBO2 is on AGESA 1.1.0.0 which has been out since mid Nov.

I finally have 1.1.8.0 for my B550-I, Asus seemed to release it last for this board.

Currently I have everything set to auto, I'm scoring 5961 in R20. Is there anything I should tweak?
Is this a trick question, you are in a thread literally about tweaking the AMD Ryzen CPU.
No to tweaking if your happy with your result in Cinebench R20. The scores I show below will not have more performance than your CPU at your current settings. The numbers are for showing off.

My 5800X with tweaking Cinebench20 if interested.Added single core also for fun
Single -663

Multi- 6441

Here is CPU -Z and Cinebench up to 5175Mhz

Updated my X470 bios and played around with the curve optimizer, so far i can get it to run all core boost 4650Mhz and got over 700+ point increase in R20

Which manufacturer is your X470 board with as I have an msi b450 tomahawk but I'm not seeing the curve optimiser option in the bios.?

Edit: nvm I found it now.

I was confused about how it works, I looked in my bios and can't find it so I guess they haven't enabled it yet for this motherboard.

Does the curve optimiser only work with multiples of 5 or can it be fined tuned to the nearest 1? So -10 might be unstable but dropping down to -8 would be would be enough rather than -5 as I only see people talking about -5/10/15 etc

I'm slowly getting my head around this on my 5900X/X570 taichi, currently I've achieved:

SC boost up to 5.15ghz on my best core
4.35-4.4ghz all core

That's with:

PBO on
+200mhz
Scalar 5x
Manual limits set for PPT etc

Set -10 across my good CCD and -30 across my poor CCD. The -30 is probably too aggressive.

i get much better result with +0Mhz and Scalar on auto (1x) 4600Mhz All core boost
and what voltage do you set for it? auto/offset/manual? I see more od more benchmarks where all core OC seems better, especially for 0.1 and 1% low fps and overall gaming experience is just smoother
oh wait nvm, I thought you are using manual OC instead of PBO, sorry

Edit:

You get great results! Will have to try the same.

What have you set curve optimizer to?

-10 on the first 5 cores then the rest was -35. with these setting you can't set +100 or more else it would not even boot to windows, but zero gives me the best overall boost.

I still need to play around with the optimizer because if I want better single core boost of around 5050+ mhz i need to change the optimizer settings so I can use +150 or more.

Will give these a try, thanks.

I've been using +200mhz so far as, like you say, it gives me crazy SC boost (5.15ghz) but wouldn't mind sacrificing a little for better all core boosts.
