I just had a quick run through the early jungle/coast level on the same settings as you and it seemed to fluctuate between high 20s and low 40s using the ingame fps counter -gameplay seemed pretty smooth and no slow down when blowing things up, shooting at multiple enemies. Thus far very happy with the card.

That crysis benchmark has me seriously impressed, what happens with a nice glaze of x2AA on top?

For some reason I could get FRAPS working in Crysis but not Crysis Warhead? Anyway, no biggie.

I had a fight with one, trying to fit a 9800GTX++

into a freinds PC which was not working

I can tell cos antecs are not that long so long card and you are struggling

I got to say this is the best card I have ever owned. And I have owned quite a lot.
Starting way back from
Diamond3D
3dfx
Kyro II

X1800
X1900GT
3870
3870X2
8800GTX
4870

I am not just saying that because I bought one. But because its got great performance. Its quiet. It uses so little power idling its like running a laptop. My case and CPU have droped about 2C in temp compared to a 4870. And my volt rails have never been more stable.

This card just feels solid and expensive? Does that make sense to anyone? Its unlike any ATI card before....It has a sort of Nvidia quality feel to it...Same feeling I had when I bough 8800GTX. Well worth £300.

I have a killer i7 set-up would love to test out a 5870, had the chance to buy, but waiting for 2GB or X2 for this puppy to kick ass.
