7800X3D gaming build(no fancy name)

Yeah I’ve not turned expo on yet
How come? You've updated the bios I assume so no reason not to? You can set voltages yourself if you are that worried about it?

My other thought was maybe it didn't like the ram but if it's base timings I don't think it would cause that?

I’ve not dived back into the bios since installing windows, will probably get around to it t some point in the near future.

Checked the fw version of the Samsung 990Pro 2TB & ran a crystaldisk benchmark on it.

Only time I've seen invalid scores is when I've pushed an oc too hard and flaked the test out.

Have you got expo off as well? CPU score is too low
ive not run cinebench but id say yes as your timespy cpu score is 1500 below my stock expo cpu score

Well just ordered another item for my gaming setup that costs about as much as a gpu, going to have to wait a couple of weeks for it to be delivered. Any guesses?

Well I turned expo on and reran the tests(well not run the single core test on cinebench yet, will do it and update here later).

Only a couple hundred more with expo, found a post on Reddit where people said they got ~18000 then when they updated to the (at the time) latest bios the score dropped a bit to ~17000.

Edit: ran the single core cinebench test, will rerun both tests after updating to the 1616 bios.

First off, very nice build. :)

Have you rotated the display on the Z63 yet?

You should be able to do this in the CAM software.

Rotate that display
Yes I’ve done it, seems the cam software/having dual infographic causes higher “idle” temps. Was getting 40-60c(usually low 50) on the desktop, not having the cam software running/single infographic gives in the 40s. Still need to peel of the plastic from the screen on the pump, was running cinebench single tread test in the picture below.
