You might struggle to get 4 dimms to run at CL14 and overall the perf increase would be minimal for real world.Anyone think it's worth changing my kit (images in previous post) for 2 of the 16GB CL14 kits or is it likely going to be so roughly the same that it's not worth it in potential? It's F4-3600C16D-32GTZN, 2x16GB CL16
So i currently have the Asus Maximus X Apex Mobo with these : https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3200mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-08l-tg.html

I want to get 32gb in my system (which only has 2 ram slots.
Shall i go for the 3200 ones or the 3600 ones ? Or will it not make much difference.
What motherboard do you have?Nice, been running 4x8GB C14 3200 for a while, system is super snappy
What is the difference with performance in what I own (MY-095-TG)? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-quad-channel-kit-black-my-095-tg.html
I currently have my 4x 8GB at XMP 3600MHz 16-16-16-36 TRC 82T TRFC 631T Command Rate 1T, I've tried both safe and fast profile with the Ryzen RAM calculator and both safe and fast won't work with my current setup 3600+B450 Mortar MAX,
Not that I will but if I were to get the 2x16GB RIPPED ones it'll work or saying that buy 2x packs of the 2x8GB RIPPED ones @ 3600MHz @ CL14, but then for the hassle of selling my current ones and then testing the new ripped ones might just be a headache and maybe I should just keep my Xtreem 8 Pack ones. Is there any point or any difference?
Probably not but depends how far you want to go. I'm looking at running my system for quite a while so thought I may as well max out for the expected life/usage
It's a shame because if I had a spare 200 knicker I'd pre-order the 2x16GB CL16 ones as I'm sure I'll get 200 or so for my quad 4x8GB kit, but then saying that I may be able to use fast or safe settings once I buy the x570 tomahawk when it drops, any idea how long the pre-order and current prices will be on for? I get paid on Wednesday lol

gibbo mentioned earlier that the new kits got a flight out, give it a few days and hopefully by the end of the week we the consumer should have them
