I do agree yes that this is right.
My concern is that people have a "not my dog he a good boy" kind of dismissive demeanour right up until disaster strikes. Their love blinds them.
Dangerous dogs are entirely unacceptable, and this country has a serious problem with looking the other way in the light of incidents like this.
Maybe not something so Draconian, but more needs to be done for sure.
That's true to an extent as at the end of the day dogs are dogs. At the same time though, Dogs are absolutely a product of their environment.
Like certain types of other animals though I do think that owners should have to go through some sort of fit for ownership check . . . the notion that everyone should automatically have the right to a dog is daft in itself.
