Hopefully that bodes well.

@ Jack Bauer, unlucky!!! Mind you, haven't you got a bit of a cold coming on?!![]()
I do not actually think the 8800GT will be much fatser than a 8800GTS.
Why am I saying this?
Well, my current GTS overclocks to 650/1720/2000. At this speed it beats a stock GTX in most benches. The GT has stock settings of 600/1500/1800. Assumimg shader and memory clocks will reach similar levels to my GTS, and that the GT core reaches 700, the only difference is ~50MHz on the core and those extra 16 pipelines (minus 64bits of mem bandwidth).
At stock, the GT does slaughter the GTS, but when overclocked it may be quite close.
Yes but stock status is 'overdue' on the EVGA models
Not too happy with ocuk atm![]()
yes if you use your grey matter a bit and get a decent price for your 88 card and use the net to your advantage it would cost u about a tenner to get one going on what people are getting for there gts a moment.the games we are on about are the new next gen titles where the exra bit of horsepower will make the difference without spending a fortune or double the price.its not even worth arguing about really its common sense.
I'm now thinking of getting one of these but question is i game @ 1920x1200 with my 8800GTX, now i know its faster at stock than the 8800GT but when overclocked it might be faster than my GTX but will the memory slow it down etc. But really i'm going to be looking at the GTS/GTX when they come.If i sell my GTX now good chance i'll get a good price from it.
Nvidia should have produced more, simple as that.
Why the hell are you going to sell your GTX =/
Most benchmarks I've read the GTX (todays GTX) beats the GT, unless the GT is in SLI obviously
I'd keep the thing =/

Was going to do an overclocked one but Im really out of time now.
Anyway on a 6300 @ 2.8 GHz with 2 Gig ram at 800 MHz
8800 GTS 320 got 8900 @ stock
8800 GT 512 @ stock
