8800GT Ramblings Thread

Hey easy, impressive score, but why did you bench your quad at 3.6ghz when your sig says 3.8ghz, was it just so you could do a like for like comparison with your old gts score?

If so, have you benched it at 3.8ghz yet, and what difference did it make to your 3.6ghz run. Cheers.
 
but... but.. I thought easy swore by the gosple acording to orthos. Many a time he's stated an overclock isn't valid unless its 8+ hours orthos stable.

If his chip can't do a round of 06 at 3.8ghz then it definately can't do a round of orthos at 3.8ghz, which begs the question - why's he pimping it at 3.8ghz.

Easy, care to enlighten me ?
 
I am sure he will soon just a joke btw easy.
As i am positive he will now post a screenshot of 3.8ghz orthos stable with wtm showing cpu duration time of orthos included.

I wanted a direct comparison at 3.6ghz with my 8800 GTS

My PC is prime stable at 3.8ghz and will probably run 06 at 4ghz +

No haven't ran it at 3.8ghz yet.

I wanted a direct comparison with my 8800 GTS and have been tinkering and playing the crysis demo tonight.

8800 GTS 12712
8800 GT 15004

Q6600@ 3.6ghz
