Hey easy, impressive score, but why did you bench your quad at 3.6ghz when your sig says 3.8ghz, was it just so you could do a like for like comparison with your old gts score?

What about the other week when you put 3.8Ghz in your sig and claimed the clock before you had even stress tested it, I pulled you up about it and you soon changed it

It was stress tested I just didn't have a screenie.

And resulting in you eating humble PIE.

I'm 16 in the 06 list and you are 28 with a card that cost twice as much.

Bitter I know but just deal with it.

if you were a serious contender you would have 2x 8800 ultra in SLi.
But only a fool or rich person would spend that money for a 3d mark.
I still think it was too early to buy the 8800gt though, price drops will be here in around 2-4 weeks.
Lets say people paid £180 delivered if it drops to £130-£140 in a month and resale value is then £100-£110 that is quite a big loss for a small period if the new gts comes and kicks the 8800gt's butt i know theres murmurings of it being the old core but let's see.

LOL back to the old childish tactics I see

It was not stress tested as you did not post your screeny in your Q6600 thread till sometime the next day after the 10 hour loop had completed, if you had of had it stable you would have put the screeny up there and then to prove me wrong.

Fair enough it was stable but you claimed a clock before it was, which totally invalidates your "Prime stable ethos" claim

I paid £152 for mine.

£*** delivered for an xfx alpha dog ? hmm sorry don't believe that. In fact i don't believe that was even with vat added let alone delivery.
Unless you have some "special arrangement" or special discount deal going on i simply cannot find that product at that price anywhere even with £10 off discounts.

My PC is prime stable at 3.8ghz and will probably run 06 at 4ghz +[/IMG]

Easyrider out of interest what cooling is that on? I've got the same CPU but never thought you would be able to get that high without going the water route
