8800GT Ramblings Thread

Just got my 8800GT from the delivery guy before work this morning. I'm going to install it tonight when I get in. I'll be going from a 8800GTS 320mb. Would it be best to uninstall the drivers and run driver cleaner before installation?

wow, got my 8800gt today, and the difference in fps between my 7950gt and this is amazing

crysis is perfectly smooth everything high and 8aa, where before i got about 5-10fps everything on high

tf @ 16xaa 16xaf perfectly smooth

goddo on your new purchase but perfectly smooth all high with 8xaa, what res are all using and also what fps are you getting please ?

I'm in xp and even @ 1680x1050 with no AA it drops to 10fps during busy fight scenes, on average though I'm getting around 25fps, no AA running @ 1920x1200.

I ordered my OCUK 8800GT last night when it said there were some in stock, but now this morning there are none in stock and my order is still in the warehouse queue.

I ordered it for Friday delivary, what are the chances of me actually getting one?

Well after the place ran out of ASUS 8800GT's, i cancelled my order. But today they had some more in on there site, so i went to order one, as i was given free delivery for the out of stock thing, £176.11 all together Apparently there was only 1 in stock ! Hopefully thats mine and itl be with me tomorrow
