Mines just arrived at work. Off home in 30 mins. Been a while since I last upgraded. What do you guys recommend for uninstalling old drivers - is it still a case of a) remove Nvidia drivers from add/remove programs b) use driver cleaner to get rid of the rest c) power off d) install new card e) install new drivers.

Oh and what drivers do you recommend whilst we are on the subject.

Hi there

Well I am very proud to say that OcUK has shipped its 2000th 8800 GT this afternoon, so thats 2000 of these shipped out of OcUK HQ.

I think its fair to say OcUK has done a great job of getting good volume of this card in to try and meet deman and is hopefuly that within another 2 weeks we'd have shipped a further 2000 units.

As yours is a similar spec, I now know that i am about right. Will test under "performance" mode tonight.

Strange how 3D06 identifies the E2*** range as the E4**** though. Does the same on mine.

Yea, when it was at stock, it picked it up as 2160, now its back to 3ghz its picked it up as different :eek:

Going to enjoy the card before i have a go with clocking it

It seems harsh, I ordered my Zotac before some people here who have had theirs shipped

and I'm ordering plenty of stuff to go along with it.

just got my dispatch email for my zotac card. all i can say is phew! (and thanks ocuk) Was just about to change my order as i need my computer up and running tomorrow and have allready sold my old cards. I ordered 4pm on the 22nd if that helps anyone.

Yes will be quite a lot left over but saying that sales are ramping up and fast, in order to keep these things in stock I need 1000+ at a time which at the moment just is not happening.

You said the EVGA 8800GT Superclocked + Crysis is coming in. Does that include the EVGA Superclocked without Crysis?
