8800GT Stock?

Well I just bought a brand new EVGA 8800 Ultra for £265 inc postage/VAT so am happy now. :)

I really wanted the AMP but hey ho, will cancel in the morning. Some you win, some you lose.

Rickos fear not! I've just spoken to the ever helpful OcUK sales peeps and have confirmed that there are still 5 orders and 5 cards to be dispatched. Simple maths the guy said - cheeky bar steward.

Anyway so it looks like we might get one anyway. :)
 
Could a Zotac recipient please confirm for me that the box includes a molex > 6-pin adapter. My shuttle PSU is unlikely to have a 6-pin graphics-card power cable, the SN35P2 my brother-in-law just bought didn't :eek:

I should be getting my Zotac AMP around lunch time FirebarUK, shall let you know if a 6pin power adapter is included, are you sure your Shuttles psu is upto the task?

Thanks guys.

I'm not entirely sure if the PSU is up to the task, but I know other people running 8800GT's fine on the 250W PSU - just not the uber-clocked Zotac :D

My brother-in-law has a HD2900XT and quad core with 2 HDD's etc running off a 350W. I'm only going dual core, so less draw aswell. Fingers crossed :)

Yeah I seen a few people have an amazing amount of hardware running in a tiny shuttle but thats the first time I have seen a HD2900XT thrown into the mix, thats got a hefty power requirement all by itself.

How long had your Bro been running that set-up?
