Yeah easily, im gaming at that res, 320mb GTS is astounding.

Nowt the matter with Sunderland, im in Houghton-Le-Spring which is just outside it, right Next to Washinton. :p

not sure about that; I played yesterday Oblivion at 1280x1074 at highest settings with 16AF and not AA and my experience was worst than with my overclocked 7900GTO.

Most of the times I got more fraps with the 8800 but sometimes the fraps went down to about 10 and with short pauses due to the only 320MB.

With the 7900GTO (at gtx speeds) I never had any problems coming from indoors to outdoors enviroment with enemies waiting outside!!!

Edit: I have an opteron 170 at 10x270 and 2GB at 270. drivers 97.92
only played for 2 hours and the slowdown happened only twice, but happened!!!

Something wrong there then as its perfectly fine here, dont get any drops to 10fps, or short pauses, the 320mb's not making a difference here, exactly the same as when i played it on my 512mb x1800 XT only much faster and the better iq.

welll thats just strange Im playing oblivion at the settings mentioned by Loadsa earlier on in the thread and when I play it minus AA and ju8st 16xAF it runs so super smooth its unreal.

There must be something messed up somewhere as with just purely 16xAF on in oblivion @ 1280x1024 it should run nowhere near 10fps averaging around 60 outdoors id say

I use vista....on a second hard drive ;) If i wanna game at the moment I use XP if not I use vista!

I just coulnd't be bothered with all the hassle of a dual boot system - Am thinking about getting another 320GB WD SE and Raid 0 with Vista - Not sure if it's worth all the hassle though
