8Packs no BS testing Intel 8700K and Z370 with Delid 5ghz and above available from OCUK.

Quick update to my bundle
You can now get it with:
hero, Taichi or gigabyte gaming 7 boards. Just select option.

Cooling options including no cooler

Cpu's which are binned and delid 5- 5.2ghz

16GB 3600 c16 mem

These bundles will get priority on future binned cpu's after I fulfill current backlog in order.

A few questions for 8 Pack regarding the new options and changes to this bundle. I ordered and paid for this bundle on the 10th, still awaiting processing so obviously I'm one of the people in the backlog. 1) If I should make any changes to my ordered bundle (ie change MB) will I lose my place in the queue? 2) If I do change my selection of the MB from the previously only select-able Asus ROG to the Gigabyte Gaming 7, will that mean it comes with the £40 steam wallet offer or is that only if you buy the MB separate? 3) The memory on this bundle has been updated compared to when I ordered it on the 10th, I presume when it comes to building and dispatching my order it will have the updated memory shipped with it? 4) Depending on your answer, I may make some changes to the order, I presume I can do that via webnotes on the main OCUK shop site? Look forward to your reply, thank you in advance.

I ordered on the 9th (and had customer service amend my order for a 5.2bin on the same day), and the memory has always been the same, 16GB @ 3600 :S. What am I missing?

Sorry guys - rookie question here! I have a binned i7 8700k, settings per 8 Pack, running prime95 and the clock speed immediately drops from 5.2 to 4.9ghz?

Anyone know why this is happening?

Your running the wrong version. None AVX Prime v26.6. But why bother doing this?? Set your system up..... Use it as you normally would. We already did enough of that to last the life of the CPU!!!

1) No
2) Yes you get the offer for sure.
3) memory is 8Pack 3600Mhz 16GB c16
4) The best way is to call up for sure not Web notes.

Wanting to jump straight into my 5g overclock next week when my 5g binned cpu arrives, what settings do I need to change in my Gaming 7 bios

From what I've seen so far...

Multicore - 50
Vcore - 1.35/1.4v
Cache - 4.4
IO - 1.1
SA - 1.1

Missing anything?
Do you think I might get lucky if I play around for a bit and get it to 5.1g?

@ 8 Pack

Prebinned OC at 5.2ghz - PC crashed and rebooted after a few hours of gaming and video editing. Anything I should try to troubleshoot this? Cheers! :)

Xmp
Avx offset 3
All core ratio 52
Digi power llc level 6, could current cap 140%
Cache ratio min 44
Cache ratio max 44

Core voltage 1.4
Dram voltage 1.4
Vccio 1.1
Vccsa1.1
Cpu standby volts 1.1

What is considered the safe maximum for VCCIO and VCCSA for continuous use? I am sitting at 1.21 V according to sensors to make 4133 MHz RAM work, could potentially go a bit higher with more voltage.

Just raise VCCIO and SA a touch.

Sounds fine. LLC obviously.

Currently using an 2012 OCUK built 3770K @ 4.5GHz ... How much of a speed up in general Windows, Photoshop, video editing (non CUDA) etc would I see going to a 8700 @ 5GHz (or 5.2)?

Safe around 1.35v or less on decent cooling. But you should never need more than 1.25v.
Thanks, let's see if I can get 4266 running :)

I get 36 fps in x264 Hd benchmark pass 2. 32.4 fps in x265 benchmark. Running 5 GHz under AVX, 4.6 GHz uncore and 4133 CL17 memory.

Awesome, I will check out the BIOS when I get home tonight.

@Nutkins, I got the 5.1 GHz binned one. Doing 5 GHz with AVX/AVX2/FMA3 in x264 and x265. I don't think 5.1 will work with these loads, but that is to be expected.
