8Packs no BS testing Intel 8700K and Z370 with Delid 5ghz and above available from OCUK.

Guessing you don't have many left to bin, so I hope there's not many back orders left....

My thoughts. I have had a £1,200 basket sat here for days just waiting on binned 8700k stock because the T&C say you can't pay for 'out of stock' goods and form a queue, only 'pre-order' stock. I'd have ordered ages ago if this was made known. I will happily pull the trigger now and wait for Monday if I'm definitely going to get one; but there's hardly any point me spending over a grand only to find out I have a pile of useless parts and no CPU come next week... :(

That's the binning board. Should be easy.

So f5 and F10 then enter to reset bios. Reboot back into bios.

I have applied the preset, its stable at 5.2 GHz, somewhat anyways, lots of stuttering but nothing critical.

Order today gets you on the waiting list. Currently today I have enough to fulfill back orders, bundles etc and then put some on the site.

By Monday I don't know if that's still the same situation.

That'll be a nice setup, same case as me, didn't you wanna go 280mm AIO?

Mate I agonised lol. I was originally planning the Asrock Taichi (more power phases, all USB3+) and 360mm AIO. The Hero is in stock and has on board reset, clear CMOS and other switches so that plus the BIOS swung it (just). ScienceStudio on YT said even though the case says it supports 360, 'basically, good luck with that' (fitting 360 in the Enthoo Pro M). I then hit some reviews and settled on the Fractal 240 due to its integrated fan controller, low noise and decent cooling. It didn't even occur to me to go 280 TBH, but with a delid and 240mm AIO I don't think it should be an issue? I can always change the order if you know any better? I looked long and hard at the Gaming 7 which you ordered, it's a nice board. There's not much in them at the same price points tbh.

Sounds like you've done all your homework ;), 240mm is said to be minimum by Ian, mis-read your post I have the Enthoo Evolv case and tbh my 280mm struggles to breathe with the front cover on under heavy loads. Gaming is fine for CPU but I have the rad front mounted with AIO for GPU at the rear which isn't great cause my GPU AIO get's all the CPU AIO warm air then - can't win. And I only went for the Gaming 7 for the pretty lights :p

It'll do me for now till the next big Intel/AMD release, was just getting bored of my 5930k, which has been a good processor although my first one died and got RMA'd, I doubt I'll keep my X370 system as long as I have my X99. Upgrading's all the fun though.

1.35V don't go lower. Some will ofcourse though. We can't test at every single voltage.
Still puzzles me why peopme are scared of extra volts... So instead of 15 years chip wil work 8?? Like after 5 its junk performance in most of cases*.....

Bzbz times i see for You. I assume quite few 8700/8600 made it to ocuk this week then??
From all this binning your arm will get smaller or You got Bench next to test rig?? :]

*excluding 2600k at 5ghz+ :p those just dont want to leave the market buhahaha.

No memory is c14 3600 xmp. My range is 3200 c14 or 3600c16. Both of these kits oc really well 3866-4k very easy c18 or 19.

3600c14 no vendor is doing. My dimms will tune down though with tweaking no issues.

I must have been heavily drunk when I bought it, I was originally going for something else as I need low ram to fit my Noctua fan, and saw this 14cas 3600mhz ram so JUMPED on it. Damn it ><. On a side note, can I remove the heat sink from them? they look like they have torque screws holding them in place but after inspection its seems to be hollow rivets.

PS: I was heavily drunk.
