8Packs no BS testing Intel 8700K and Z370 with Delid 5ghz and above available from OCUK.

You guys with this avx clocking down issue do you have igpu disabled in bios??

I thought the bios auto-disabled igpu when detecting a VGA card?

I did some more testing last night. When in PUBG my frequencies, independent of core, alternate between 5ghz and 4.7ghz (my avx frequency). I will test tonight with the AVX offset disabled and see what happens.

I tried all combinations of having IGPU multi monitor on or off and having the device disabled or enabled in Windows. Made no difference for the AVX issue.

I've not built my 8700k system yet and it's still in the ocuk box, but can I ask why the offset is needed? If the CPU maintains its overclock with it disabled I'm struggling to understand why this is important.

Just for clarity, I'm not trolling anyone here and this question is just because of my own ignorance but I'm always hungry to learn more

Ok just started overclocking my 5g 8700k and a few questions

I set the Volts at 1.350 in the bios, I notice upon boot-up in CPUZ it shows around 1.320 volts with no load....shouldn't this drop down when the core speed does and also when I prime95 the CPU with 100% load it then drops down to 1.248V - what going off here then?

Also in prime95 none of my workers are going past Test 1, its not like a couple are being left being none of them ever move?

Have you set

Have you set the LLC,
If so check the VCore voltages from HWMonitor not the VID voltages. And run HWMonitor without CPUZ as the conflict.

For workers in prime, try to scroll down. if it doesn't say "error worker stopped" then it might not have auto scrolled.

Which board. I mean this is obviously llc...

Gigabyte set turbo
Asrock flash beta bios and set
Asus set level 5-6.

Just to help others not waste 1 hour like I did, for gigabyte gaming 7, there is no dropdown to select turbo like other Field, you have to MANUALLY type it, with a capital T: Turbo

Completely aberrated

Nothing to scroll down to, CPU is 100% load so primes doing something, it just never moves off test 1 on all workers
