Feel for you

Not me, but that's very kind. ;)

This is how OcUK is different, I fight like crazy to get customers best deals, exclusives, customer support and will happily work around the clock to achieve it.

I know it's not your thing, but could you get whoever deals with Samsung SSDs to have a word about the continuing issues with their 840 Evos ?

Feel for you, seen customers asking for help on their dead forum and FB page, they just seem to be ignoring customers and spouting same old script.

This is how OcUK is different good or bad news we keep our customers informed around the clock and are very pro-active, when I was made aware of this last Tuesday meetings were had with the owners, then our sister company Caseking the following day announced they would take all RMAs back at their own cost. OcUK had to do a lot more work in the background due to volumes sold but that following day we had a meeting with EVGA and other board partners and launched that certain brands we could now take returns on as they had agreed to support OcUK. We then gave the remaining brands a deadline (end of week) as we intended to accept all cards back with or without their help, so potential big financial cost to OcUK but thankfully nearly all brands gave us a positive answer by our deadline, others soon came back to us after we made our public announcement and only Gigabyte was left in the end who promised us an answer by next week, but OcUK will cover all cost should they not support us.

I hope those guys sort you out I really do and if they do not in say a week or so let us know and we shall see if we can step up and sort what they failed to do.
I love how transparent and open OCUK are :)

I wish I ordered my gigabyte g1 gaming from here. I got it from a company that rhymes with van, I requested a rma on Tuesday and still not heard anything even after 2 phone calls! It was only £7 cheaper and I wish I had paid the extra £7 and got from here as it would have been sent back already for a 290x 8gb.

Im in the same position, they havent even got back to me yet :/

You guys are awesome , been following this thread some days now, I am just in the process of returning my GTX 970 atm that I bought from OCUK when they were just released... fast responses to my emails and also got my RMA details, so cant complain 1 bit. But I too was stupid enough to buy a second from that same bolton shop - spoke on their live chat and got nowhere, as well as emailed them, but got no response.

OCUK - Gibbo, U have won my loyalty hands down, over this dispute about the cards, I have also had issues with other retailers in the past, and been buying on and off from OCUK for a few years now. Well I know there is only 1 shop I'll be buying from now ;):D

Bummer, its gone up £20 then since yesterday I think.

I can only think there are quite a few returning there 970s and going 290x as the prices have gone up a bit.

I change prices and ice changed no prices, MSI 970 gaming was 299.99, then 293.99' then 289.99 and I put on weekly offer on Wednesday at 281.99, it's not being lower since launch in October.

Wow, what a outstanding response to my previous messages! If I do get a refund from "van" I will only be buying my next card from here anyway. Just FYI gibbo, I have been A customer since early 2006 and spend many thousands (tens of thousands??!!))((don't tell the wife))) here and been a active user on the forums for years and years but for some reason when I tried to comment on a post in November my forum account had disappeared or been cancelled so had to start a fresh hence only 12 posts but I must have made over 500 on my original account.
Anyway, thanks for your support gibbo, I will never be shopping anywhere else again!

I'm planning on upgrading to a 1440 monitor in next few months or August at the latest and I fear the 970 will struggle and not as future proof as I thought it would be when I purchased it. I have been a loyal customer of nvidia for as long as they have been a company but will not be getting a 980, I plan on getting a 290x hopefully soon and then upgrading to the new amd when it comes out later in the year.

Thanks for the words, we've spent the last three years going from what I would say was ok on customer service but had plenty of room to improve, we quickly became good, then excellent and now amazing, but we will never stop trying to get even better. :)

CS wins me over all the time. Oh and good prices. Ocuk wins both :D

I am somewhat worried by this whole ordeal. I have an msi 970 and have never had a single issue with the card so I can't see why I would return it apart from resale value. However now that people are sending the cards back does anyone think there will be any issues going forward.

My 970 is in a gaming pc and going into a 1080p tv and I have to say I prefer it to the 290 I have in my office pc. Its just don't want to be Sat on something that nvidia cannot sort with drivers in 6 months time ?
