let's wait for something more official before we believe a story about a guy who spoke to a NCIX store worker!

And if needed add a second one later.

Man some of these guys must be so blinded by some twisted sense of fanboy loyalty that just can't see why Nvidia are at fault here.
Literally amazing, must be nice though to be able to remain in blissful ignorance. That's a trait they share with Nvidia.
If people lie I know to steer clear.. When corporations / business put out false advertising I know to avoid..
3.5GB + 0.5GB.
Less ROPS.
Less Cache.
It literally doesn't get any plainer..
Each to their own though.

Would be even better if at the £360 price mentioned in the Hexus.net review. I think at £420 it's a bit on the costly side given you really need x2 of them to get utilise all that VRAM. For single card, the 4GB is ample enough. Plus I don't see how it's worth £100 more than the MSI 8GB.This

That is a nice card. The temps are only about 4degC warmer than the 970 and actually 10C cooler than the 980 according to the following review.

The power consumption is 80W more than the maxwell chips but not crazy high like many think. Works out about £20 more per year.
ignorant is believing something to be true just because some American purple shirter said so.
Seriously, we all know nvidia screwed up. We all know that and we all agree on it, so let's move on. What people want to do next up to them and If people want to keep their cards then who are you to judge?
anyway, if you could tell me how having less rops than originally reported affects the performance of my card then you might hope to begin to have a point....
We have had false advertising on nearly everything since the year dot.
"8 out of 10 owners said their cats preferred NVidia"
Come on how many talking pussies do you know.
What we be the killer, next quarter....will Nvidia gain or lose market share?
Refunds only, we're doing way more on this subject than any competitor who are point blank refusing to accept RMAs.
