There is a video that as appeared on social media of someone looking like Jay Slater being heavily beaten.

I'm not 100% sure if it's him. The video footage also seems to jump cut around.

Some are saying it's not him. That it's a 3 year old video. The confusion came because the girl he was with had posted it to her Twitter then later deleted it.

Probably. Apparently the gofundme was to pay for people to search. But the people stopped as they didn't see any of the money.
