Thing is, at least with DC final we had 0.7 to keep us going lol. It just annoys me that we'll all still buy it and none of this messing people about will hurt EA (unless the demo is bad lol...).
The sooner they release the demo surely the more copies they'll sell? Also, if the game is gold, why isn't the demo ready? A multi million dollar corporation like EA should be able to throw together a release exe and solid installer in about half a day of testing.

If EA can keep up the interest we'll get more mods and freebies to the game and it will last. This can only be good.

I'm looking forward to it as much as anyone, but I can see why they arent going to rush it out. Loads of people will use the dmeo to decide whether or not to buy the game. If the screw it up in anway it will cost them a fortune. Just cos the games gone gold, doesnt mean that creating the demo will be that quick - look at Doom3!

Well I won't be back at my PC till Sunday night, so any delay would be quite welcome! I'm selfish like that 
I hope my 6800GT will be ok... I'm going to upgrade to 2Gb of RAM next week because it's finally affordable, so hopefully that will help.
What with the R520 or whatever coming out soon(ish), I'd hate to have to upgrade in the meantime!

Your all assuming they know exactly when its going to be ready..
If its anything like our QA, then they wont be willing to work the weekend, and therefore have to ensure all bugs are fixed today ready for a build / release over the weekend. Of course if they dont fixed all the class A / B bugs then they will have to delay it further until next week..
Just be patient it will come when its ready..
