A battlefield2 thread

Loads of people still play mate & people come back to it on a daily basis, Plenty of vehicle servers & Infantry only servers as well, I can Always find a space/game on a 64 man server & I am Banned from a crap load an all. :p

Get the full edition as it's less than a fiver & you'll get the extra unlocks through owning Spec forces.
Some of the SF maps are kin Awesome as well, Creeping about in the night either ganking or getting ganked scares the bejesus out of Ya & brings a whole new element to online play.

I was going to creatte a new thread....


I need some advice on my next unlocks I currently have:

now, the only gun I seem to get killed by is the PKM, so I'm going to get that gun for sure. but I'm unsure as to which other to unlock.

I hardly ever play vehicle maps, so the engineer and anti tank don't appeal to me but it is a long ay til my next unlock so this one has to count. I may start playing a few vehicle maps so one of the two classes may come in handy.

or ... should I go for the 2 support unlocks? is the 2nd suypport gun ( G36 iirc) worth it?

don't know what to do!! wich I never unlocked the bloomin F2000 now :(


[edit] I play mostly medic and sniper and occasionaly special forces. never use the stock support gun.

Damm gotland servers, got banned from the jalalabad 24/7 for arguing with mec commander about arty on the usmc uncap.

lol, currently play on the super@infantry clan servers. Good ping and have a 24/7 jalal with vehicles which is the best map in the game :D
 
Play the S18 Home of the Goats server, good admin, and always a fair game....
Highly recommend...
 
The shotguns are good, the AT has more rounds. I remember killing about ten in a row with that and I ran out of ammo


Disagree with the rant, they did a fair bit of work on it and 1.41 is playable. I dont think they'll ever iron out all the bugs, they arent capable and as a business only so much investment makes sense. They obviously value bf series, I cant think of many other free to play games updated 4 years after release

Well the rant is true, look how big the Bf2 community was, and look how much they done it over with the 1.3 patch. You could not have a normal game of BF2 for a good 3 months. If it was for any other company, they would have released a hot patch.

THERE was not even anyone from EA say "Sorry guys we don't know how to fix it"

My Clan lost £300 because we paid for our server, and then it crashed because of the 1.3 patch.

After that our server was never full again :(
