I just tried to join a server and got " Disconnected banned by admin " , i then tried to join another server.. Punkbuster kick player "" , Global GUID Ban e89afde8. You have been permanently banned from this server

I haven't played the game since dec 08 , never been banned :mad:

What's your BF2 name and/or PM your full guid if you know it. I admin our server and we stream a couple of ban sites, so if you want I can check those to see if the ban is listed on one of those and why.

Or see if you can join our server, 85.236.100.70:16567, and I can check the logs to see if the ban is streamed from the sites we use.

not totally PB's fault in that it's doing what it should but I can see the annoyance and there probably should be a better way of doing these things by now. worth appealing it though based on what I can see.

Note #4: The Global ban on this GUID has been in effect for quite some time. Furthermore, this ban would be in effect on ALL PB-enabled servers, regardless of operating system. If you are only getting the Global GUID ban message on some servers, I'm willing to bet this is on a cracked server and therefore not computing your GUID correctly.

Are you getting the global GUID ban kick regardless of server?

Note #5: Yes on all servers , even the battlefield 2 special forces servers... I know its just a game but i'm abit upset about it , me being autistic

I'm quite sure, but i'm on a phone, so reading back further than two pages was a bit of a chore. He just happens to be mentioned an over-average amount in those past 2 pages

I just realised after re-checking my email the free postage appears to be 3-5 days. So i'm hoping it's here tomorrow for the supposedly crap day of weather we'll be having.

Well it's nearly a week later and my game ordered from the place that is fun still isn't here. Absolutely thoruoghly rubbish. Nothing has EVER taken this long to come from an online retailer!
