A fair comparison. PS3 vs 360 price.

I can't believe how much flak ps3 gets when the wii is an absurd console. That really is a lazy half a job machine. They should change the word overpriced to wii.

Weird how the wii hardly gets any bad press or no one dares to mock it.
 
heh, I like the Wii. Lacking games at the moment, So i'll agree if you say it's slowed down a little.

But the console in itself is great fun. Not for serious gamers tho.

I think the sales for both consoles speak for themselves:

The public like the Wii.

The public are not quite so sure about the PS3.

No i wouldnt expect people to buy the 360 or PS3 in large numbers yet regardless Wii was here or not. Wii goes straight to the PS2 pricing range and appeals to those users from the get go. Company like Sony dont want to slow sales of the ps2 yet. Especially when games like GOW2 are still coming. Same cant be said of the Gc or Xbox.

The software situation on Wii is pretty poor so far. Zelda saved the launch but after that there hasnt been anything. People are becoming annoyed. All talk no action. The biggest games also are GC ports(zelda, pm) which isnt good.

So therefore the Wii has done it job and hit its target audience, big time, so its a success, so why should it be given flak just to make you feel better about a PS3?
 
Exactlly the Wii may be cheap tat but its cheap and fun and thats what a lot of people want from a console.

The PS3 is getting slated because its expensive for a console just to play games on, you can argue about it has this and this but its all irelevant, if you just want a games console IT IS expensive.

When the price comes down to the £300 price range and it has a good games catalogue its gonna trounce the 360 elite in sales as again the 360 elite is expensive for a games console.

:rolleyes: I can say what i like about the Wii. Quite frankly i am entitled to as a long time Nintendo customer. Not my fault if i was impressed by PS3 and not the Wii.

I have a ps3 and a wii. what hardware problems are you talking about then? i've had none with mine whatsoever. i dont personally know a single person who has a problem with wii hardware.

And yes, you can say what you like. people are having a hard time agreeing with you because 1st hand experience is telling them the opposite of what you are trying to tell them.

But I don't own a Wii, and have not bought a Nintendo system since the N64 such was how much they annoyed me, so I think its fair to say I am not a fan, its still a success.

shouldn't games consoles be judge on the games that are available and will be available in the future rather than costs :confused:

When you think about the actual cost of the PS3 or 360 and then divide that by hours many hours you do/will spend on it then I see both as quite a bargain :)

(hope that makes sense)

That was months ago.

I dont need battery packs as i've got loads of 2700mh with a 1hour charger, and the lan cable through my PC works dandy.

Nice logic, also things like watching HD/blu-ray DVDs, using the media capabilities etc.
