Abramovich & Chelsea + a bit of Everton

I guess that means no player sales etc either, considering they use the loan system allot for the youngsters it's gonna ruin development for them too

4.4. Reasonable costs of travel to and from Fixtures (or for the purposes of training or practice) by any of the Club teams for players and essential staff (including the reasonable cost of any travel company making such arrangements and necessary security staff or contractors) not exceeding the value of £20,000 per game per Club team.

Guess they'll be taking an Easyjet flight to Lille for the Champions League match.

Decent thing to do would be to sell the club and donate the money to rebuilding Ukraine.
Bit difficult to sell the club right now though? For however long the UK Government keeps its sanctions on Roman in place for surely he can't do what he wants to do? In the short term this hurts Chelsea, no paying fans (apart from season ticket holders) no merchandise sales, no transfers of players in or out and no new contracts and, presumably, no way for Roman to fund the club to counter any shortfalls. How does the medium/long term future of Chelsea look for 3-5 years and more? The season ticket holders can surely only attend matches for the rest of the season as next season would be new tickets which are banned now?

I wonder if they will be required to give away the allocation for the away fans. That would be a nice gesture.
Possibly this, definitely needs to be something, as it’s a massive unfair advantage if no away fans are allowed to attend for the rest of the season, more interested to see what happens next season if no fans are allowed to attend, could possibly give away tickets for free.

But if only season ticket holders can attend then won't the coaching team outnumber the fans allowed into the stadium? :D

That’s them up **** creek without a paddle. Those sanctions could be in place for a very long time. The club will slowly rot away under such restrictions

I doubt it. This Ukraine situation will be sorted out in the next few months and the world will want to undo as many sanctions on Russia as quickly as possible. Most of the companies who are boycotting Russia are doing it for PR and governments are losing huge sums of money and putting massive strain on their finances with their sanctions.

This will all be back to normal by the start of next season IMO.

I think you’re being extremely over optimistic about the Ukraine situation.
