He is German :confused:. He was born in Germany to his German mother and holds both Finnish (dad) and German citizenships. He has however lived most of his life in Monaco but his nationality is German, he flys a German flag and identifies himself as German throughout F1.

The title fight isn't lost yet, but you've got to admit Malaysia was pivotal. Hamilton should have left there either 1 point behind or 2 points ahead, instead he left there 23 points behind. He's since clawed back 11 points, leaving him 12 behind at the final race whereas he could be 10 or 13 points ahead.

Equally, if something did happen to Rosberg at T1, it's going to be a pretty boring cruise to the finish for Hamilton. The only excitement would be whether or not his engine decided to go pop before the chequered flag…

I'd like to see a real challenge from the Ferarris / Red Bulls mixing it up for the podium or one (or both) of the Mercedes having to push through the field. It's just so unlikely.

In fact, the most amazing turn of events would be for Rosberg and Hamilton to make contact at T1, nether of them retire but both end up at the back of the pack and then have to battle each other and the field to get the highest position.

That's the race I want to see. :D

I have my fingers and toes crossed for some Turn1 smashing. What is this track like for Turn 1 smashes?

Literally PRAYING for someone to take Rosberg out, so we can at least have some semblence of drama, even if he does have to overtake the field to win the WDC. Something, anything, other than a dreary cruise home to 2nd.

His engine is old, so maybe it will blow up... fingers crossed. Jesus, even a puncture would be something at least.

Other than creating the threads, majority of my posts are in off topic and the pre-season testing threads.
 
Yh the childish fanboyism in these threads tends to be on par with the graphics card sub-forum...which takes some doing.

Don't particularly care about who wins WDC. Just want this season to be over and to hope and pray that at least two constructors have championship winning capable cars next season.
 
Someone should tell Bernie to instruct the FIA and find something illegal on the Mercedes cars to ensure pitlane start for both.
